Alan N. Williams ("Corvette Al") Alan N. Williams, (76) affectionately known to many as "Corvette Al," passed away on September 13, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, friendships, and accomplishments. 

Born on May 26, 1950, to Harvey N. Williams and Wilma Williams, Alan lived a life marked by dedication. hard work and a passion for family, friends, automobiles. and motorcycles. 

He was a longtime resident of Basehor, Kansas, where he built lasting relationships. Alan retired after 42 years of service as an engineer for Union pacific Railroad, earning the respect of colleagues and friends through his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to excellence. His career reflected the values he carried throughout his life. perseverance, loyalty, and pride in a job Well done. 

Known far and wide as "Corvette Al," Alan had a special love for Corvettes and the camaraderie that came With sharing that passion. Yet among all his vehicles and collections, his most prized possession was his cherished 1942 Harley-Davidson knucklehead, a motorcycle that reflected his appreciation for American craftsmanship, history, and the open road. 

Alan is survived by his sister. Susan Williams-Umstead and her husband, Tom Umstead; his stepdaughter, Brandi Donnelly (Stephen Graham); his niece, Tara Leath (Jimmyl• and his nephew, Adam Umstead. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. Al will be remembered for his warm spirit, unwavering dedication to his work, and his enthusiasm for all things speed related. 

Whether talking about hot rods, Corvettes, or his beloved 1942 Knucklehead, he shared his passions generously with those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
