Anna Marie Burnett

Our beloved mother Anna Marie Burnett passed away peacefully on the early morning of Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 in Raymore, Missouri, at the age of 59 and after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Kansas City, Kansas and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.

Most knew her for being very creative, having a kind heart and willingness to help anyone.  She enjoyed spending time with family, celebrating events and playing yard games. She also enjoyed music, movies, animals, camping, outdoors, sewing and crocheting. She loved being able to share items she made, be it a small hat, a doily, a piece of clothing or very intricately designed blanket. She was a multi-talented woman with many hobbies.

She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Santoyo and brother in-law Rick Mora. She is survived by her mother Camerina Santoyo, sister Mary Mora, brothers Larry Santoyo and wife Robbie, Chris Santoyo and wife Shirley, Jim Santoyo and wife Rhonda, and Dennis Santoyo; a son Daniel Marshall, daughters Virginia Marshall, Camerina King and husband Kyle, Marie Lamborn and husband Josh; one niece, six nephews, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Many say Anna was a miracle. She was diagnosed and given only six months. She fought and gave us seven years.

And perhaps what made her most beautiful was not her appearance or what she achieved, but in her love and in her courage.  Her audacity to believe no matter the darkness around her, light ran wild within her and that was the way she came alive, and it showed up in everything.  A quote By Morgan Harper Nichols.

Visitation will be held 12PM, with memorial services to follow at 1PM, Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
