Ashley L Wright

It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ashley Leann Wright. Ashley, 38 passed away Tuesday morning May 28, 2024, beside her eldest daughter, in the comfort of her mama’s arms at home surrounded by her family. 

Ashley was born on December 1, 1985, in Kansas City MO to Lisa (Pretzl) and Neal Wright Sr. Ashley is survived by her partner Anthoveli Rosales and her three daughters Jasmine Santos, Amiah Santos and Olivia Rosales, Her siblings Joshua Wright ( Nicole ), Erin Wright ( Joshua ), Neal Wright Jr. (Annie ), Anthony Wright ( Yesenia ), Andrew Wright and Grandmother Corena Wright as well as 6 nieces, 5 nephews and a great niece. She was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and faithful friends. She is preceded in death by her brother Nicholas Wright, Grandparents Neal Wright, Ralph and June Pretzl and Cousin Rebecca Wright.

Ashley was raised and lived in Kansas City, MO. Her family was her whole world and she loved them dearly. She found great joy in her pups Euro and O. She adored watching her girls grow into the beautiful young women and being there for games, matches and cheer competitions. She was definitely their biggest fan and will continue to be from heaven. She loved the outdoors, exploring new places and a good BBQ. One of her favorite places was hanging by the pool on a summer day with family and friends. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer and fought for the past year and a half with everything she had. She underwent chemotherapy, radiation, countless surgeries and procedures, but kept moving forward for her children. Ashley was full of life, energy and moxie. She was taken from us all too soon but will forever be the bravest and strongest woman we were blessed to know and love.
