Francis W. Benson

Francis Wilburn “Frank” Benson, age 88, passed away December 18, 2019. Born January 8, 1931, to Edgar Roy and Annie Jewell Benson of Shelby County, MO, Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. He married Patsy L. Lamberson on April 20, 1956. They were married for 62 ½ years, until her death January 14, 2019.

Frank loved to fish and spend time outdoors. Frank was member of the Masonic Lodge #618 and held various positions through the Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star. Frank retired from General Service Administration in 1996.

Frank is survived by his three children: Terry Louthain, Gary Benson, Robert and his wife, Christine Benson; all of Belton; Four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and a host of loving extended family members and friends.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Belton Christian Church, 409 Airway Lane, Belton, MO, 64012.
