Betty Jo Mills 99, of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. She was born May 28, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Virgil and Ruth Cline.

She was the eldest of six children, a devoted mother that was known for her patience, love, knowledge and laughter.

She leaves behind three children Donna (Terry), Michael (Laura) and Dennis; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and her brother Jerry Cline.

Faith was the center of her life, but she wore it lately she was known for her warm smile her love of jokes and unwavering belief that everyone mattered to God. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
