Beverly Ann Kingcade, 92, of Raytown, Missouri passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1933.
Beverly was a talented artist with a special love for painting landscapes, capturing the beauty of nature through her work. She was deeply devoted to her faith and was very active in her church community at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Kansas City, where she gave generously of her time and spirit.
She found great joy in caring for her 2 cats and also her flowers where she spent countless hours tending her yard, a reflection of her love for beauty, patience, and hard work.
Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Dale Kingcade, as well as her father, Clifford Pontious, her mother, Gertrude Randall, and her Uncle Bill Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Kelly) Johnston; her son, Alan Kingcade (Donna Osterlund); five cherished grandchildren, Brandon (Holly) Jones, Eric (Becky) Jones, Chad Jones (Darianne Bell), Ashley (Teryn) Clough and Bret (Natalie) Kingcade; and six great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Kolten, Jace, Isla, Cora, and Aria.
Beverly will be remembered for her creativity, her faith, her love of family, and the quiet beauty she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 5 at 1 PM at Park Lawn funeral home at 8251 Hillcrest Rd. in Kansas City, Missouri. The service will follow at 2 PM followed by the burial at Park Lawn Cemetery.
