Beverly Ulvenes, 93, of Gladstone, Missouri, recently of Overland Park, Kansas is now with her Lord and Savior when she passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born July 16, 1933, in Sandwich, Illinois, to the late Robert and Mary (Duvick) Tuttle.

She not only involved herself with church activities but was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Melodies singing group.
Bev had other interests as well, including painting and writing poetry. Some of her poems were published, of which she was very proud.

A Graveside memorial service is being planned at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri, where Beverly will be laid to rest with her husband.

She considered them family and felt truly blessed that she could spend her last months surrounded by the loving friends she made and the wonderful staff who cared for her, they would also like to thank Ascend Hospice for making Beverly's final days peaceful and comfortable

Here is one of the poems that give an insight into Bev’s life and faith in Christ.
Are You Ready?

Has the Lord saved your soul?
And made you completely whole?
Have you by the Holy Spirit been told
You are going to that city,
Where the streets are paved with gold?
You can be saved now, It is so easy
When you know how.
Give your heart to our Savior,
Ask Jesus to forgive you,
And forever win His favor.
Jesus will watch over you as His child.
He will train you to be meek and mild,
If you surrender yourself to Him each day,
He will take care of you along life's way.
Tell God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
You love Him through daily prayer.
Then someday you will be among
The privileged to meet Him in the air!
Jesus' second coming for some will be very sad.
All who are saved will be very glad to see their dear Savior,
Whom they have faithfully served
And from duty and love for Him have not swerved.
I am looking forward, joyfully, to my Savior's return.
Have you been saved and for His second coming yearn?
