Brad attended and graduated from Central Missouri State University, now University of Central Missouri, in Warrensburg, Missouri.  He was a member of Theta Chi where he developed strong relationships with his fraternity brothers.  After graduating college, Brad made a career in the insurance business in the field of Personal Lines Underwriting.  He was employed for 37 years with American Family Insurance working in both the Kansas City and St. Joseph offices, retiring in 2018.  Brad developed many friendships with co-workers that went beyond working relationships.

Brad was an avid sport fan, not only in participating, but watching all types of sports.   He especially enjoyed football and baseball.  When his competitive baseball playing days ended, Brad joined a recreational softball team, where again, he developed many friendships.

The greatest love and joy in his life, was his family.  In 1991 he married Mary Wiggin(Locke)and instantly became a Dad to Stacey.   Brad and Mary had two children, Bradley ”Jordan” and Bailey, who are the light of his life.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Lucille (Pat) Thomas in 2002 and Carol Thomas in 2013.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of the home.  His children Bradley “Jordan”, Kansas City, North, Bailey Elizabeth, North Kansas City (Parker Sterni), Stacey Stroble (Travis Best), Nevada, MO. His brother,  Carl Thomas, Richmond, MO and granddaughter, Paige Stroble, Liberty, MO.  Brad is also survived by Pat Cummings, his friend of 49 years and Godfather to Jordan and Bailey.
