Calin Anthony
O'Brien
Mar 10, 1960 — Aug 30, 2026
Calin Anthony O'Brien, born on March 10, 1960, passed away on August 30, 2026.
Calin will be remembered as a man of faith who loved the Lord and carried a deep sense of gratitude through every season of life. Even in the face of challenges, he remained happy and grounded, often reminding himself of how fortunate he was. That outlook touched the people around him and became part of the way they knew and loved him.
He worked as a Business Manager in industrial work, bringing dedication and steadiness to his career. Beyond his work, Calin was known for the warmth of his spirit. He had a laugh that everyone will remember, full and genuine, and he was an amazing storyteller whose presence could brighten a room and draw others in.
Calin shared many joys such as the game of golf, and a fisherman's skill, but the most that he held closest were his family. His wife was the love of his life, and that love stood at the center of his world. He was also especially proud of his granddaughter, Emersyn, who brought him great happiness. One of the memories that will remain most cherished is the way he made sure his sons had the fullest Christmas, taking special joy in seeing their faces light up. That generosity of heart, and the delight he found in giving joy to those he loved, says so much about the kind of man he was.
Calin’s life was marked by faith, love, gratitude, and a spirit that lifted others. He leaves behind the memory of a joyful man whose laughter, stories, and devotion to his family will be treasured always.
Preceding Calin in passing, was his parents: Lawrence and Gloria O’Brien; as well as his uncle, Ed O’Brien.
His is survived by his loving wife, Jerri Ann O’Brien; his dear children: Jarred O’Brien and his girlfriend Angelica, Jake O’Brien, and Seth (Stephanie) O’Brien; as well as being the most proud grandpa to his granddaughter: Emersyn O’Brien. He is also survived by his siblings: Tom (Julie) O’Brien, Larry (Jen) O’Brien, and Kelly O’Brien; and his life-long friends: Mark (Debbie) Cowart, Tom Constantino, and Mike Cooley.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.
