Carolyn Morris

Carolyn Veryle Morris (McReynolds), 72 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away October 17, 2025. Carolyn was born September 20, 1953, to Curtis and Geraldine McReynolds.

She attended Northeast High School in Kansas City, MO and after graduating, she began working at the Social Security Administration, where she retired after 33 years of federal service.

One thing people always noticed about her was her beautiful smile. Complete strangers would often tell her how pretty her smile was. She enjoyed reading, shopping, doing puzzles, and she loved to sing!

She grew up attending church in the KC area, and she accepted Christ as her Savior in her adult life, led to the Lord by a dear family friend.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Geraldine McReynolds, and brothers Jerome, Reginald, Christopher, Joel, and Dennis McReynolds.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 39 years, Kippy Morris, Sr.; her children, Ulysia Castleberry (Albert), Dwana Morris, and Kippy Morris, Jr; brothers, Curtis McReynolds (Deborah) and Anthony McReynolds; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom she loved dearly.
