Carolyn Sciolaro

Carolyn “Jean” Bellante Sciolaro, 88, of Independence, Missouri passed away May 24, 2025.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be at 12 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Park Lawn Funeral Home; 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Kansas City, MO 64138. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11- 12 PM, June 4, 2025.

Jean was born September 24, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Philip and Cleo Bellante. She attended North East High School. Jean retired from Bayer. She was the first woman foreman at Bayer. Jean enjoyed playing her piano. She loved to cook, to dance, she loved to travel and ride behind her husband on their motorcycle. She loved camping and loved to gamble.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son William and granddaughter Ashley.

She is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Anthony Sciolaro. Children Gary, Michael and Sheryl Mersman. Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
