Charles Lee Coen

Charles Lee Coen, 71, passed away on April 26, 2026. He was born on December 31, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Samual Lee Coen and Miriam Amelia Coen.

Charles lived most of his life in Kansas City, Missouri. Following the passing of his wife, he moved to Harrisonville, Missouri, where he spent the last eight years close to his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. During that time, he became a familiar presence, often enjoying time on his front porch, waving, and visiting with those who passed by.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Hart (Mark); three grandchildren, Casey Hart (Lauren), Ryan Hart (Coressa), and Jenna Warren (Josh); and seven great-grandchildren, Giavanna, Amelia, Adrianna, Conner, Creed, Colter, and Evelyn, whom he adored immensely, along with extended family and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shoni Rae Coen, and his parents, Samual Lee Coen and Miriam Amelia Coen.

Charles will be remembered for his friendly personality and the unconditional love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Cass County Elks Lodge located at 2400 RT 291, Harrisonville, MO 64701 (Date to be determined)
