Christi L. Dudrey

January 22, 1958 — December 13, 2025

Liberty, MO

Christi Dudrey, of Liberty, Missouri, a beloved wife, mother, “Grammy,” sister, and friend, passed away on December 13, 2025, surrounded by those closest to her, following a brief and courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Christi was born on January 22, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Hugh Preston and Ramona Wilson. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1976 and began her career working at Commercial Bank, later serving in the admissions department at Liberty Hospital. In 1980, she married the love of her life, Les Dudrey. In 1983, Les and Christi adopted their daughter, Lindsey, and Christi was devoted to being a homemaker.

Christi devoted several years to caring for her mother during her struggle with dementia, until her passing nearly 20 years ago. In the years that followed, Christi treasured time spent with her father and sisters—sharing coffee, breakfast, enjoying shopping trips, or simply being together at family gatherings. Living so close to one another was truly a blessing.

Known for her vibrant personality and deeply loving nature, Christi always put her family first. She had a remarkable way of welcoming others into her heart and often “claimed” many as her own—Lindsey’s childhood best friend, her son-in-law, Lindsey’s anesthesia classmates, and most especially her beloved grandsons.

A woman of many talents, Christi found joy in cooking, painting, quilting, and rug hooking. She spent countless hours hosting friends and family, sharing meals and creating memories. Her beautifully personalized quilts marked weddings, births, and countless milestones. Her most recent passion, rug hooking, brought her cherished friendships and many joyful retreats spent doing what she loved.

Christi was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Preston and Ramona (Catlett) Wilson, and her sister, Donna Wilson Lentz.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Leslie Dudrey; her daughter, Lindsey (Derek) Wilson, and their sons, Roman and Rory; her sister, Lori (Ken) Tajchman; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Christi leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, unwavering love, and fierce dedication to her family.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial services will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.
