Clara Jean Morris passed away March 27, 2026. She was born September 9, 1947, to Edward and Edith Lula (McAuliffe) Morris. She lived at Willow Creek Group Home in Adrian, Mo. She worked for Bates County Industries, Butler, MO from 2005-2017 before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings: twin sisters; Pauline Hoit and Madeline Patterson, Edward Morris, Jr., Anna Mae Hill, and Milton Morris.

The surviving family of Milton would like to thank Willow Creek Group Home for their continuous efforts, dedication, and care to the welfare of Jean.

Jeannie (Jean) loved Jesus. We can only imagine her now, in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

“Jean belonged to the Adrian Christian Church and volunteered at the Adrian Community Library. She loved diet coke, cheeseburgers and fries and she wanted dessert at every meal. Jean loved the expressions, "I'm always in the doghouse" and "hound dog." She loved to read while sitting out on the back deck and had her Bible or a scripture book in her hand. She always said a prayer for everyone. Jean was truly one of a kind and will be missed so much by her friends and staff.
