Climmie Warren was born in Eufaula, OK on August 26, 1933 to Johnnie Warren Sr. and Ethel Polk. Climmie left Oklahoma and moved to Kansas City, Kansas when he was 16 seeking employment. He later relocated to Kansas City, MO where he lived out his life. Climmie would join the military in 1953-1956 to the United States Army serving his country to the fullest as Private First Class. When Climmie left the military, he began a career at TWA Airline as a Ramp Agent, where he worked for over 30 years. During his latter days in Kansas City, Mo, he met and married Janet Sanders in April 1977. Janet and Climmie attended the Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple, where they rededicated their lives to Christ. Limmie loved playing pool, spades, board games and a good game of dominoes with family and friends. Climmie was called home on October 9, 2024 at The Village of Carroll Park in Grandview, MO. Preceding his death are parents, Johnnie Warren, Sr and Ethel Polk; siblings, Johnnie Warren, Jr., Leamon Polk (LP); Gladys Hodges; Thelma Taylor; sons, Todd Warren and Artis Warren; and daughter, Denise Handson.
