Olathe

Cynthia Louise Graves, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on March 28, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, Cindy was the daughter of Elma Pearson and Byron Taylor. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Paul Pearson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Tomi Pearson. She is survived by her siblings: Paula Hill (Pearson) and brother William “Matt” Pearson, her two children: Lisa Robbinson (Glatz) and Michael Glatz, her grandchildren: Amanda Robbinson, Jessica Robbinson, Emily Robinson, Camryn Robbinson, and Amaya Glatz. She was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Callum Vincent. She was affectionately known as “Wagi” to all her grandchildren and their friends.

Her love for the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals was only surpassed by her love for her family. She spent every chance she had with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Professionally, she worked as a Pharmacy Tech, Real Estate Agent, and Emergency Medical Technician. Her last career move found her at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, where she served as a Deputy Sheriff for 21 years. She retired from the Sheriff’s Office with the rank of Lieutenant in 2005.

She will be deeply missed, but her memories of her kindness and love for her family and friends will live on.
