Damian Nathan Gunn, 20, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away May 3, 2023, in Liberty, MO. 

          Damian was born April 28, 2003, in Overland Park, KS.  He was a 2022 graduate of Liberty North High School and worked at Price Chopper on North Ash in Liberty. 

Damian was a baptized member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He loved playing basketball and reading the bible with his stepdad James at the church and shared his faith with friends. He especially appreciated the beauty of nature and enjoyed time outdoors. Damian was blessed with a very creative mind. His bedroom was a reflection of his love for music and a place where he wrote music and later would go to a studio to record it. Damian performed music at various local venues and at the Chiefs’ stadium. He had a passion for fashion, creating graphic designs for clothing and painting shoes.  Above all, Damian was blessed with a loyal, loving and giving heart, which his family and friends will treasure always.      

          Family members include parents, Rebecca O’Donnell and James Jackson, and Nathan Gunn; siblings, Dakota Gunn, Mariah Jackson and Ariel Jackson; grandparents, Teresa and James O’Donnell, Jr., Wanda Gunn and Kim Gunn; aunts and uncles, Matt and Nicole O’Donnell, Jackie and Nick Cruse, Andy and Toy O’Donnell, Gary and Alyson O’Donnell, Natalie Gunn, Jamie Gunn, Eric Huff, Deonte Huff, Dedrick Huff and Dayveon Posey, as well as many cousins, other family and friends. Damian was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy Gunn and Deborah McQueen.
