Darlene was born in Seattle, WA on January 18, 1944, along with her twin sister, Charlene. They were overly premature, underweight with pneumonia and Charlene didn’t survive. We were told that the doctor made the comment that Darlene would forever miss her twin sister and she did.
She moved to Kansas City, after the war and lived in Nevada, Mo from 1953-1957 returning to KC and attending Sunnydale Academy in Centralia, Mo. She graduated in 1962.
Darlene married Joe Kempinger (deceased 2/2002) and is survived by her son, Tye Kempinger, Orlando, FL, grandsons Joseph, Kempinger and Noah Kempinger, forever loving cousin, Marsha McMorrough of Orlando and her husband, Ted. Her only sibling, is brother Gary Bradley (Olivia), Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by her niece Tara Bradley of Kansas City, MO, and nephew Zach Bradley (Tina) of Leawood, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert (2/2002) & Marjorie Bradley12/2010).
She had lived in Orlando, FL the last 13 years with the loving care of Marsha, Ted and Tye, for the last three years.
A mother, cousin & sister who will be greatly missed.
