Obituary

In loving memory of David Beck lll, a cherished son, devoted father, and a beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. We announce his untimely passing on June 19, 2026, at the young age of 29.

Born on April 17, 1997, in Kansas City, Missouri, David's life, though cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and family. His ability to spread the warmth of a gentle giant will always be remembered and cherished.

David was a beacon of kindness, known for his infectious smile that could light up any room. His heart the kindest, one could ever know, was a testament to his character—a man who valued family above all else. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 2016.

A true Kansas City native, David's passion for the Kansas City Chiefs was unwavering. Sundays were sacred, spent cheering for his team. His admiration for LeBron James was equally profound, rooting for his favorite player. David enjoyed playing his PS5, a pastime that brought him joy.

David's love extended beyond his immediate family to his dear nieces and nephew, who adored him as much as he did them. His family was his world, and he found immense joy in every moment spent with them. His daughter, Rayah Beck, was the apple of his eye, and his love for her was boundless. David's legacy will live on in her, as well as in the hearts of his parents, Kristy M. Cook, David E. Beck Jr., and Tiffini M. Beck.

He leaves behind his cherished brothers Kennyboy Beck, Trenton, Jordon, and Treyce Cook, and sisters Kristionha and Kellsey Floyd, along with his loving grandparents, Kathie and Lyle Cook, and Cathy (Sis) Beck, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. David had a special bond with all his cousins/ best friends including Michael beck-Seay, DaVonte Beck-Seay and Chanc Copeland.

David was predeceased by his grandfather, David E. Beck Sr., who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms in the great beyond.
