Brad Harnish

December 8, 1979 — June 9, 2024

Brad Harnish, known affectionately as "Cotton Top" as a kid for his distinctive white hair at birth, lived a life filled with laughter, joy, and a deep passion for helping others. He was born on a beautiful morning, greeted by the rising sun in Kansas City, MO on December 8, 1979. Brad's journey on this earth came to an end on June 9, 2024 doing what he loved most - riding his beloved motorcycle.

He attended Liberty High School, where he laid foundation for his successful and bright future. Throughout his life, Brad forged a reputation as a certified electrician with a knack for brightening everyone's day. Described as a simple man with a heart of gold, he was always ready to lend a hand and spread smiles wherever he went. His contagious sense of humor could light up any room, and his presence was like sunshine on a cloudy day.

Brad's love for motorcycles and music was unmatched. Whether cruising down the road on his bike or blasting tunes from the loud stereo systems in his cars, he had a way of making every moment feel alive. His zest for life and adventurous spirit inspired all those around him to embrace the thrill of the ride, a ride made better with sunglasses on and a Mountain Dew in the cup.

In his spare time, Brad enjoyed the company of family and friends who meant the world to him.  Among those who have passed before him are his grandparents Art and Shirley Harnish, grandfather Floyd Wilson, and uncle Billy Wilson. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by his surviving family: mother Robyn Wilson, father David (Timma) Harnish, sister La'Ria (Rick Graff) Wilson, brother Anthony Warren, grandmother Judy Wilson-Dyer, half-brothers Johnathan and Trent Harnish, nieces Kaytlin Wilson and Kara Kay Wilson, nephew Zander Warren, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

On Friday, June 14, a visitation for Brad will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by funeral services at 10:00 AM, both at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 N. State Route 291, Liberty, MO 64068. Immediately following the service, Brad will be taken in precession to Glenridge Cemetery in Liberty, MO to be laid to rest. HIs family encourages all that attend the services to celebrate Brad’s life by wearing their favorite Chiefs, Royals or Harley Davidson gear.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for a memorial headstone.

Although Brad has moved on from this world far too soon, his memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to our beloved Brad, let us celebrate the vibrant spirit he brought into our lives and find comfort in knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
