Ted Davis

Teddy Harrison Davis, 65, of Independence, MO, passed away September 16, 2022.

Ted was born August 15, 1957, in Kansas City, MO, the youngest of seven children of Mary and Melburn Davis. He grew up in Independence and graduated from William Crisman High School. Ted was a member of Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene.

Ted was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Richards Davis; father, Melburn Davis; step-mother, Dorothy Jean Davis; and siblings, Edwin Davis, Danny Davis, Kay McKinney and Thomas Davis.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Pavone; grandson, Giovanni Pavone; sisters, Dona Severson-Davis (Cynthia) and Diana Toney; step sisters and step brother, Mary Jane Wilder, Michael Whitehead (Jan) and Mark Whitehead; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his loving church family.

A celebration of Ted's life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, at Fort Osage Church of the Nazarene, 19333 East 24 Highway, Independence, MO. Visitation begins at 5:30 pm, followed by service at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the church.
