Debbora “Debbie” Ann McFadden from Parkville, Missouri passed away on Monday December 30, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. Interment will be at Park Lawn Cemetery at 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, Missouri on Monday January 6, 2025; family only. Family and friends are welcome to a memorial hosted at the family home on Sunday January 12, 2025, from 2 – 6 PM. She was 58 (Wednesday March 30, 1966 – Monday December 30, 2024), a mother and wife.
Debbie is the only child of Hendriekje “Henny” Boynton (Entrop) and Marie “Bill” Petrus Heilker. Her parents immigrated from Schiedam, a city in the province of Zuid-Holland (South Holland), Netherlands to Scottsdale, Arizona where Debbie was born. A few years after her parents divorced (age 10) she moved to Vlaardingen, South Holland, Netherlands to live with her father. Schiedam & Vlaardingen are towns near the countries 2nd largest city, Rotterdam. For more than a decade she called the Netherlands home. She established deep connections with families that remain her extended family today; Heldrop, Krueger, Swaneveld and others. In her early 20’s she returned to the USA. Attended college at Arizona State University before taking a position with her mother and stepfathers’ firm; First Americo. She opened the Kansas City office for First Americo in early 1993.
Shortly after 4 PM on Saturday July 3, 1993, by divine providence she met the love of her life. Both her and Doug describe their meeting as a “lightning strike” event. Within 2 weeks they were discussing the rest of their combined lives. They committed to always choose “love” and “us” over everything else in the world. That commitment set them on a path of learning and perfecting how to love and be loved. In good and bad times, they grew closer to each other and God. From this cornerstone they built their life. All who knew her well felt this foundational love, sincerity and strength. All her good deeds and accomplishments meant nothing without this foundation. She is a loved child of God. She is missed.
She was predeceased by her twin boys, Kyle and Ian, stepfather William “Bill” R. Boynton, and in-laws Norma L. Jewett and Harold L. McFadden. She is survived by her mother, father, stepmother (Diane Heilker), and three children – Carly (34), Scott (20) and Alexandria “Aly” (17).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to either their church:

Her families fight against cancer involved many alternative therapies not covered by insurance. These proved effective, but too little, too late. Contributions to her GoFundMe page will help defray exorbitant out of pocket expenses not covered by insurance.
