Dennis Ray Frazee, 80, of Lee's Summit completed his earthly journey on July 15, 2026.

Born on March 21st in Kansas City, Missouri he was the son of Hugh L. Frazee and Irene E. Griffith. He grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Southeast High School. As an adult he also resided in Colorado and Minnesota.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1971. He served in the 1st Amtrac 3rd Marine Division proudly reaching the rank of Corporal. Dennis was deployed and served in the Vietnam War from '65 to '67. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Metal, Vietnam Campaign Metal, National Defense Service Metal and Rifle Sharp Shooter badge.

Following his service, Dennis worked at General Services Administration, House of Lloyd, Bronco Billy's Casino, and Adams Point Golf Course where he meet his life long friends, Ricky, Robert, Garrett, and Bill.

Dennis had a love for riding his Harley Davidson, "Cinnamon", hiking, running, camping, building model cars and houses. He was known for his meticulous detail.

Dennis was the loving father of Michelle (Shane) Wills and Kelly (Ross) Moore. He treasured his role as Grandpa to Sydney, Angelina, Leanna, Karlee and Alivia. He was elated to be promoted to Great Grandpa to Brielle, Giavanna, Lucy and the little girl on the way.

He is survived by his brother Richard Frazee and Brian Romaker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Ranella Kay, Hugh, Vernon and Shirley.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 11 AM on Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville Missouri. 

A Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 1 PM until 4 PM at the VFW Post 1829; 5904 Crystal Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.
