Patricia J. Deschepper

December 27, 1946 — October 4, 2021

Patricia June (Collier) DeSchepper, aged 74, passed away October 4 th, 2021 at Kansas City Hospice, with family by her side.

Born December 27 th, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas, she is proceeded in death by her parents William J. and June L (Noble) Collier. She resided in Kansas City, Mo from early childhood until her death. She graduated from Northeast High School, and upon graduating she went to work for Sears, Roebuck & Co. for many years. She went on to work at BMA and Blue Cross & Blue Shield, from which she retired. Pat made life long friendships from high school, at her workplaces, and at church. She was a proud member of Avondale United Methodist Church, where she felt they were a loving addition to the family.

Pat was a dedicated, loving mother first and foremost. She treasured her children, and embraced every moment with them. After a divorce Pat was a single mother to Johannah and Erich. Her “fur babies” Savannah and Snickerdoodle, loves and miss their mama and she loved and cared for them. Her love and devotion for her family, friends, and God is what people remember most.

Pat is survived by her two Children Johannah L. DeSchepper (Paula Talley), and Erich P. DeSchepper (Minerva DeSchepper) and grandchildren Erich (Patrick) DeSchepper, and Daniel DeSchepper. She is also survived by a sister Karen M. Copple (George Copple) and a niece Angela M. Rosenthal.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at Avondale United Methodist Church, 3101 NE Winn Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64117. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with the funeral at 11:00 am; committal immediately following church services at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Avondale UMC can be made in Pat DeSchepper’s name.
