Donna, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on September 2, 1957, to James Gantt Sr. and Grace Dodd of Liberty, Missouri, Donna was a woman known for her honesty, strength, and unapologetic spirit.
Donna graduated from Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and devoted 16 years of her professional life to Immaculata Manor/Life Unlimited, where she took great pride in her work and the meaningful relationships she built with clients.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Boldridge of Kansas City, Missouri; her children Nicole (Zacharias) Goode, Alecia Gantt, Lindsey Boldridge, and Joseph Boldridge, all of Kansas City, Missouri; and her loving sisters, Tracey Mayberry and Charlottle Gantt of Liberty, Missouri. She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren, and a beloved aunt to a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who will miss her dearly. She is also lovingly remembered by her grand pups, Dolce and Draco, who brought her joy and companionship.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, James Gantt Sr. and Grace Gantt; her brother, James Gantt Jr.; her daughter, Michele Boldridge and her nephew Aaron Mayberry.
Donna’s greatest joy came from the warmth of being surrounded by those she loved, whether during the coziness of holiday traditions, and unplanned afternoon spent with family, or the quiet comfort of everyday life at home. She especially lit up around her grandkids, whose laughter and presence brought her deep and lasting happiness. Donna also cherished the time spent with the ladies she worked with, forming meaningful friendships that brought laughter, support, and companionship into her days. She found delight in discovering small treasures while shopping, always finding joy in the little things. Known for her honesty, loyalty, and the bold way she lived and loved, Donna's laughter and strength and unremarkable spirit left a lasting mark on everyone, fortunate enough to know her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 N. State Route 291, Liberty, Missouri, on Friday, October 3, 2025. Words of comfort may be shared with her family starting at 10:00 AM. Following the ceremony, Donna will be taken to New Hope Fairview Cemetery where she where she will be laid to rest near her family.
