Donna June Qualls

June 18, 1948 — January 2, 2025

Overland Park, KS

Donna June Qualls passed from this earth on January 2, 2025, in Overland Park, Kansas at the age of 76. She was the youngest child of Bill and Ginnie Goforth, born June 18, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri. Donna grew up with her sisters, Billie and Ginnie and lived in Kansas City most of her life.

She graduated from Ruskin High School in 1967 and was a hard worker in her various job roles over the years, with her most notable employment being at Red Lobster for over 20 years, where she was a worker of all trades doing everything from making salads to washing dishes to rolling silverware as well as table setting quality control.

Donna was known as a quiet and gentle soul, often described as “sweet” and “an angel,” yet she had a witty sense of humor. She was an avid collector Elvis memorabilia and had a huge heart for all animals, especially dogs and cats. She was a master at several crafts in her earlier years, was a frequent Bingo prize winner and loved Christmas. Above all, she adored her sons, Warren and Brad, who cherished her just as much.

She is survived by her sister, Billie Reaves; son, Warren Qualls; grandchildren Elizabeth, Austin, Nicolette, Landon and Emerie; great grandchild Raelynne, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, H. Virginia and William E. Goforth; her sister, Ginnie Lee Albright; and her son, Bradley J. Qualls.
