Edna R. Dryer

Edna Rose Dryer, loving wife and mother, entered into her heavenly reward on December 6, 2022. Edna was born June 3, 1937 in Fairplay, Missouri to her parents Bert and Ida Stroud.

Edna married the love of her life, Kenneth Dryer on April 2, 1952 in Harrison, Arkansas.  They had four children: Barbara (Bill) Hathaway, Nancy Landsman, Timothy (Rebecca) Dryer, and Thomas (Janet) Dryer; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her son-in-law William Landsman.

Edna began attending the Life Church Kansas City (formerly the United Pentecostal Church at 40th and Harrison) in 1956 and continued to be a member until her death. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7PM, Monday, December 12 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be 1PM, Tuesday, December 13 at Park Lawn Funeral Home; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, send a donation in mom’s name to The Life Church Kansas City, 10400 View High Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64134.
