Betty A. Durbin

Betty Ann Durbin was born on October 5, 1924, to Oren Ellis and Tressie Melvina Pope in Christian County, Missouri. In 1958 she married Arthur Durbin Jr. and together they had four children. Betty was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never fill the space she left behind. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Wallace, Bill and James, husband Arthur Jr., infant son at birth, daughter Helen Elizabeth Lea and son Arthur Durbin III. Betty is survived by son Jerry Carsten (Sandy), daughter Desiree McCale (Steve), son Bob Durbin (Gerri), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty had a special place in her heart for her granddaughters Samantha, Alexandria, Sydney, Charlotte and Veronica and great-granddaughter Laini. Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 28, at Greenton Cemetery near Odessa, MO.
