Edwin (Ed) is survived by his significant other, Linda Sinclair of the home, a sister, Juanita Hamm Edmisten of Blue springs, MO, several cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Clarice Hamm, his father, Edwin Franklin Hamm, Sr. his older half-brother, Floyd William "Bill" Hamm and baby sister Barbara Jo Hamm.
Ed enjoyed fishing and watching the Kansas City Chiefs on television. He wore Chiefs caps and shirts and cheered them on with enthusiasm even though he did not understand the game. He loved to go fishing and bought a fishing license every year whether he was able to go or not. He loved country music and played the guitar. His singing scared their cat "Smokey" away.
He enjoyed telling stories. The same ones over and over. He liked a good joke and laughed heartily.
He loved the lord and always wore a cross around his neck. He was not pretentious. He kept most thoughts about his life and other people to himself. He loved family but did not engage a great deal. He had friends and was loyal but remained a loner most of his life.
