Emma Jean Nicholson, 77, passed peacefully on September 28, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Manor, surrounded by family.
Emma was born September 28, 1946, in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes (Hite) Acton; father, Anthony Joseph Samer and his wife Velda; and brother, Bernard Samer.
Survivors include two children, Belinda Lombardo (Anthony) and Robbie Slaton (Emily); grandchildren, Loy Lombardo (Amanda), Samantha Lombardo, Hunter Slaton, Anna Moore (Sam), Allison Slaton, and Samuel Slaton; great grandchildren, Jax Lombardo, Lia Lombardo, Gianni Lombardo, and Hendrix Moore; siblings, Ed LaRue, Joe LaRue, Mary Craig, Kathleen Pollard, and Janet Milne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm, WedWednesday OctOctober 4, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial following at Glenridge Cemetery.
