Eva Mae Vento Williams passed away December 20, 2025. Services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, with visitation starting at 9:30am followed by funeral services beginning at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Eva Mae Middleton was raised on a Dairy Farm in Joplin, Missouri along with her 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She shared many happy and memorable moments in this close knit family. In 1947 she married Sam Vento and they welcomed Sammy Joe and Barbara to their family. For 33 years, she sold Avon and made many friends with her outgoing and friendly personality. Everyone loved Eva Mae. Her kindness and sweetness were well known. While she experienced many losses during her 94 years, (widowed three times), she always maintained a positive attitude. She loved to dance and spent countless hours with young nieces, at family weddings and left a lasting memory on all she touched. She was truly a mother, FIRST, LAST and Always. Fiercely protective of her family, she will be fondly remembered to all who knew her.
She is survived by son Sammy Vento (Karen), daughter Barbara Blevins, grandchildren Erika Vento-Gaudens (Garrison Gaudens), Kyle Vento, and Ivy Blevins, many great-grand children, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Iva Middleton, father Oscar Middleton, husbands Sam Vento, Len Meyer and John Williams, brothers Don and Bob Middleton, sisters Juanita Martin, Helen Cupp, Nina Hirshey and grandson Ryan Blevins.
