Evelyn Maude Richardson

Evelyn Maude Fagan Richardson, passed away on the morning of April 29, 2025. She was born on October 4, 1936, to parents John Truman Fagan and Cassie Mildred Fagan.

Evelyn dedicated her life to service, working as a registered nurse, and later devoting herself to the care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different callings during her life.

Evelyn loved gardens, and especially flowers, and often chose floral themed clothing and jewelry. She loved spending time with and taking care of all the children in her life. She loved to read, and she loved to solve word puzzles. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting lace doilies.

Evelyn is survived by her brothers Lloyd Fagan, John L. (Butch) Fagan, as well as three children, Greg Richardson and wife Holly, Shawn Johns and husband Rick, and Scott Richardson and wife Steph. She is also survived by Mary Richardson, widow of Chris Richardson. She has 35 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, John and Mildred Fagan, her husband Randall Richardson, her son Chris Richardson, and her siblings Frank Fagan, Ralph Fagan, Mary Rhodes, Lela Fagan, and Glen Fagan. She was also preceded in death by seven grandchildren: Alexandra, Elizabeth, Angelia, Faith, Hope, Charity, and Amber.

Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Liberty Stake Center, (6751 NE 70th Street, Kansas City, MO 64119)  Visitation will be from 12-1:00pm at the Stake Center prior to the service. Interment will be in Glenridge Cemetery, (2450 N. B Hwy, Liberty MO 64068).
