Stella D. Garcia

Stella D. Garcia, 67, passed December 31, 2018. Visitation 6-8PM, Thursday, January 10, 2019 and service 10AM, Friday, January 11, 2019, both at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.

Stella was born May 30, 1951 in Gravois Mills, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; parents Winferd Merriott and Nora Peterson. Stella spent her career working for Travel Lodge and several nursing homes as a laundry supervisor/housekeeper.

Survivors include her son John Garcia (Amy); siblings Velma Dalton and Bobby Merriott; as well as many nieces and nephews, other family members and numerous friends.
