Ernie Ray Gilbert, 74, of Independence, MO, entered into rest on March 27, 2021. Graveside military honors and burial will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Lucy Mae Gilbert. He is survived by his sister, Linda Smith; niece, Lisa Smith; nephew, Matthew Smith (Claudia), great nephews, Matthew Jr., Michael, and great niece Maliyah; extended family and friends.
Service Information:Graveside military honors and burial will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
