She was married to William Lawrence Jr. for 11 years, they wed in 1960 & had 1 son, Jeffrey, as a family they spent 2-3 years living on the Naval base where William was based. Glenice was an amazing gardener, loving flowers & plants alike, she had a huge green thumb, she enjoyed doing all things ceramics as a serious hobby, & was a ceramic teacher giving classes in her own home for many years. Everything from molding the liquid clay slip to baking it & painting. She was also a fabulous faux flower maker, she even spent time as a professional package/present wrapper at JCPenney. She was a secretary of Law for several years before becoming a real estate agent for Victor Ross & Co., where she sold residential & commercial real estate for decades from the 1970s to 1991, before retiring to take care of her parents in their elderly & final years until 2003. During her real estate years she put BIG BOB & his furniture into his first building, she met Sam Walton before Walmart existed, as well as Dave Thomas before there was ever a Wendy's, & she helped the original owners of the long standing & well known Skin-n-Scuba Dive shop & Swim school in Independence, get into it's still current building. Glenice became a Grandmother in 1990 to her 1st grandchild Kristin, who once old enough declared that this Grandma would be "MoMo" for the rest of her days, a title she proudly accepted. She became a 2nd & 3rd time Grandma, in 2002 when Sarah was born, & 2006 when Britainie was born, then a 1st time Great Grandma in 2014 when Jade was born, she became a 2nd & 3rd time Great Grandma as well when River, the first male grandchild, was born in 2021 & Meadow in 2023, she also gained a bonus Great Grandchild when Kristin married Scott & him and his daughter Ashton joined the family in 2021. Glenice was an incredibly caring, unique, funny, & loving person. She put her all into everything she did & she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.
