Kansas City

Harriet "Louise" DeGerald, age 90, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed from this world on May 17, 2025. She was born to parents Brownie P. and Roxie M. (Greene) Huber of Grandview, MO, on November 20, 1934. She was the youngest of four, including her brother Porter and sisters Mary and Betty.

Louise was a 1951 graduate of Ruskin High School. She married Robert G. Livingston and that marriage produced five children. She later married Thomas C. DeGerald. She enjoyed many adventures with Tom and their "Log Cabin" friends going to the horse races and riverboat casinos. She loved her "girls only" trips to Branson and other destinations on "Johnny's" tour bus.

She worked many years, mainly at the Richard Gabauer Air Force Base and the Bendix Complex.

Louise attended Grandview Baptist Church and later Belvidere Heights Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed her women's Sunday school and Mission's groups. She often expressed how she was looking forward to "meet her Lord and see his face".  Now she has.

She was preceded in death by both of her husbands; sons, Robert D. Livingston and Glen A. Livingston; her daughter, Susan K. Calarosa; daughter-in-law Toni Ivicsics; her grandson Michael A. Calarosa and great granddaughter Chloey M. Schorr.

She is survived by sons Douglas R. Livingston and Brian L. Livingston (Dianne).

Grandchildren Tonya Caudle-Paul (Heather), Jennifer L. Hayes, Amanda L. Roush, John P. Calarosa Jr., Galen L. Livingston (Joni), Gabriel J. Livingston and Courtney L. Livingston. Great-grandchildren Logan Caudle, Anastasyia Butler, Elijah Butler, Rodney Hayes, Jr., Beau Livingston, Colbie Livingston, Lucas Schorr and Michael Schorr; great-great granddaughter Aryia Jane Crane; and Louise's cherished nephews, nieces and extended family members.

Louise did not wish to have a funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She donated to many charities in her lifetime and the family suggests donations to be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
