Jacqueline K. Curtis, 62, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on November 12, 2024. Born on February 1, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, she was the beloved daughter of James H. Waldren and Joan M. Banks. Jacque grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, before eventually making her home in Las Vegas.

Jacque will be remembered for her warm smile, bright red hair, and the joy she brought to the people who loved her. She had a love for film and a special fondness for animals and her pets. Her life was defined by the love she shared with her family and the cherished memories she created with those around her.

Jacque was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her son, Adam J. Waldren; her daughter, Dawn M. Darnell; four grandsons; and her three brothers, Gregory A. Waldren, Jamie M. Waldren, and Michael J. Waldren. Following her death, Jacque was cremated. Her ashes will be laid to rest beside her mother on October 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Park Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jacque’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Although her absence is deeply felt, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain a lasting part of her family’s lives.
