James "Jim" E. Tucker born August 27,1939, and called to eternal rest on November 16, 2025, was a pillar of love and joy whose vibrant spirit breathed life into all he touched. A devoted family man. Jim embraced the role of both father and grandfather with unmatched enthusiasm, creating a legacy filled with cherished memories and laughter.

Jim's love for golf was not just a pastime; it was a passion that intertwined with the very fabric of his family's life. He was proud of he and his son, Rusty, starting the annual golf tournament at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty, where he was not just a member but one of the guiding lights. His golf achievements were remarkable, winning many tournaments and two celebrated Holes-in-one that sparked pride and delight among friends and family. Each swing of his club echoed his spirit of dedication and competitive zest.

As an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Jim exemplified service, compassion and community involvement. His steadfast commitment extended beyond athletics as he actively served in several ministries at St. James and even graced the church choir with his soulful voice, bringing harmony and many laughs with his crazy humor and quick wit.

His passions extended to the sports realm where he embraced the thrill of cheering for his beloved Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, inspiring those around him to find joy in both joys and challenges alike.

Jim's valor was further highlighted by his service in the Marine Corps where he proudly received a rifle sharpshooter badge and participated in the marching honor guard. His dedication and service to his country reflected the values of discipline and honor that he instilled in his family. He was extremely patriotic.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his son: Jeffrey Tucker; sister: Patricia Pilsl and brother-in-law James; sister-in-law: Modine

Moody; brother-in-law, Bill Willming and brother-in-law, Glen (Karen) Rock.
