Jennifer Diane Everhart, age 59, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on April 3, 2026 at Da Nang General Hospital in Son Tra Ward, Da Nang City, Vietnam.
Jennifer Everhart was born in Maryville, Missouri to Mable “Darlene” Everhart and Robert Dean Everhart on August 20, 1966. She was one of five children and spent a significant part of her upbringing in Liberty, Missouri with her mother and four siblings, Darla Cope, Janette Turner, Carol Brown and Steve Everhart. In 1982, she met her husband, Hung Van Ngo and they spent 43 years on earth together and had four children, all of whom have grown into adults and started their own families.
Jennifer was a social person with a kind heart that was easy to befriend because she had the ability to carry on a conversation with anyone. Her smile and sarcastic wit was something everyone loved about her. She made several friends and memories at her places of employment to include Sam’s Town and Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa where she was a dedicated and successful certified games dealer before her chronic health conditions prevented her from continuing work in this field. After she exited the work force, she became a great resource and help to her grandchildren and children, whom she loved and dedicated a lot of her time to. She loved her grandchildren and had a goal to include them in everything she did, when possible.
Jennifer Everhart is survived by her husband, Hung Van Ngo, children, Kalena Marie Everhart (Soon Thong Tin), Nga Thi Oyer (James Oyer), Bradley Duane Everhart, Rebecca Lynn Pruitt (Brandon Pruitt) and her niece/extended daughter Thao Thai Ngo. She is also survived by her grandkids, Dylan Yuxi Tin, Caiden Yuan Tin, Ivy Lynn Pruitt, Noah Lee Pruitt and Aiden James Pruitt. She is preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Everhart, her father, Robert Everhart and her son-in-law, James “Jimmy” Oyer.
