Dear friends and family,

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, JoAnne Bliss-Yeokum. She left us peacefully on Monday, June 15th, at the age of 89, surrounded by her three children at her bedside.

The last several years of Mom’s illness made it difficult for her, but even through those challenging years, her strong spirit and sense of humor remained. She was a kind and caring mother whose love and strength shaped each of us in lasting ways. She helped give us a warm and loving home that extended across generations — touching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We are heartbroken, yet we find comfort knowing she is no longer suffering. We know she's smiling again in heaven, having joyful reunions with the family members and friends who went before her.

Our memories will keep her light shining in our hearts.

You will be forever missed, Mom.
