John W. Martin

John W. Martin, 64, passed away November 3, 2023.  John was born September 24, 1959 in Fort Zama, Japan to James T. and Sally Martin.  He was a retired United States Marines Veteran and he also retired from the United States Postal Service.

John was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Martin.  Survivors include his wife Cheryl Martin; son James Martin; son Matthew Martin and his wife Mary; son Sean Martin; stepdaughter Samantha Thurman; stepdaughter Bailey Sellers; grandchildren Wynter, Charlie, Lucy and Emma; his brother David Martin; and sister Carol Martin Reeves.

A gathering of family and friends will be 1-3PM, Saturday, November 11 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
