Joyce Abraham

Joyce Abraham was laid to rest during a private family ceremony on August 29th. She was 88 years old. Joyce had a long battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia. As a young girl, she lived in Kansas City, Kansas. Later, she attended Southwest High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, her son, her parents, and her siblings. Joyce leaves behind wonderful memories for all who knew and loved her.

Joyce met the love of her life, John Abraham, at St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas. They were blessed with two children, Mark and Stephanie. Joyce and John enjoyed a lifelong love of travel. They shared many adventures around the globe with family, neighbors and friends.

Joyce managed the family floral business for many years. She was an active member of the Florists’ Transworld Delivery Association, the Kansas Business & Professional Women’s Club and Zonta International holding local, state and regional offices. Joyce will be remembered by all for the ornery twinkle in her eye, her sharp quips, her generosity, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
