Judith M. Bray

July 29, 1944 — August 19, 2023

Raytown, Missouri

Judith Marie Dethlefsen Bray passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends, on August 19, 2023. She is survived by her son, John Bray; daughter Katie Santoro and son-in-law Alberto Santoro; her four treasured grandchildren: Joseph, Alex, Mia and Enzo Santoro; her brother George Dethlefsen; sister Margaret Frary and their families; as well as her countless friends.

Judy was born July 29, 1944 and grew up in Northeast Kansas City.  She attended Northeast High School and has many friendships from there still.  She was the very best grandma. Judy was community driven, a selfless volunteer, faithful to her church, was kind and witty. She made everyone she met feel special.

Judith’s passing from pancreatic cancer that spread, came out of nowhere. It struck down Judy from living her best, active, loving, giving life.  Her diagnosis to death occurred in one month's time.
