Katherine "Kathy" Kay Litten

KATHERINE “KATHY” LITTEN

          Katherine Kay Litten, 77, of Liberty, MO, passed peacefully on March 9, 2024, with family at her side.

          Kathy was born July 26, 1946, in Clarinda, Iowa, the eldest of two children of Wade Wesley and Ethel Leiner Scholey.  She grew up in Villisca, Iowa and graduated from Villisca High School. Kathy was united in marriage to Ralph Joel Litten on October 3, 1964, and they are blessed with two children, Felecia and Trevor.

          Kathy leaves her husband of 59 years, Ralph; children, Felecia Morris (Craig Haning) and Trevor Litten (Nicole); grandchildren, Madison Morris, Carson Morris, Gillian Litten, Joel Litten, and Nora Litten; and her brother, Fred Scholey (Janet).

          Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 pm, on Friday, March 15, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
