Kathryn M. Keppel

Kathryn M. Keppel, 88, passed away June 25, 2023.

Kathy was born on May 18, 1935 in Sedalia, Missouri.  She was the youngest of 6 children.  She graduated from Smith Cotton High School.

Kathy met and married her first husband Bill in January of 1952.  They were married for 26 years and had 5 children together: Debbie (John), Mike, Larry (Flora), Denise (Bryan).  She was preceded in death by one son David (Debbie).

Kathy met and married her second husband Howard in 1982. He preceded her in death in 2000.  They were married 18 years and had one son, Chris (Rachel).

Kathy was the seed of our family tree and had 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.  Her hobbies included sewing, bowling, crocheting, and playing the slots.

Kathy left a Legacy that will last forever in our hearts and she will truly be missed by her family and friends. 

Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Thursday, June 29 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
