Elezebeth "Kay" Adams, 79, passed away on May 19, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. Born in Miami, Arizona, Kay lived a life centered on family, faith, kindness, and love.

Kay was the beloved wife of 40 years to Alan Adams and the devoted mother of her twins, Ashley Gross (James Gross) and Christopher Adams. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her twins and her family. She especially loved creating lasting memories with those she loved most. Kay also enjoyed baking cookies, loved wine, and could often be found dancing to Footloose, bringing joy and laughter to those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Adams; her children, Ashley Gross (James Gross) and Christopher Adams; and her brothers, Arvle and Chuck Melton.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on May 29 at 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2 PM at Park Lawn Funeral Home 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138.

Kay will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
