Kenneth L. Mayo

Kenneth L. Mayo, born on November 10, 1957, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on September 15, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri.

After graduating from high school, Kenneth established his residence in the Kansas City area, where he would spend many years.

Kenneth really liked football and baseball, but was known for his passion for golf, a sport that brought him joy and a sense of camaraderie with friends and fellow enthusiasts. His love for the game was a defining aspect of his leisure time, and he cherished the moments spent on the course.

Kenneth is survived by his brother, Kipp Mayo, and his sister, Kathy McKarnin, niece Kelli (James) Lawson of Daphne AL, nephew Jeff (Melissa) Carroll of Fairfax VA, 5 great nieces and nephews:  Jen Peterson, Madi Puhl, Landon Lawson and Thomas and Alexander Carroll, and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess Mayo, Jr. and Paulene Mayo and brother-in-law Tom McKarnin.

Kenneth L. Mayo's legacy will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, who will hold on to the cherished memories created throughout his life.
