Lawrence Jackson

Lawrence died peacefully on May 28, 2024. He was born on October 23, 1945 in Yoakum, TX. (You have his permission to giggle.) He graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1963 and from the University of Texas in 1968. He was passionate about art, music, and travel. He was a commercial artist by trade and a bass player for his soul.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyndon and Clara Vere Jackson, and his sister Linda Hindall.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, and his sister and her husband, Janet Jackson Charles and Jim Stiles of Olympia, Washington, as well as nieces, nephew, in-laws, cousins, and dear friends. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on the 21st of July, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the ArtCentre of Plano, Inc., 902 E 16th Street, Plano, TX. 

May his memory continue to inspire creativity and warmth in all who carry a piece of him within their hearts.
