Leo O. Olsen III, 84, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on June 18, 2026.

He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on October 16, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo O. Olsen Jr. and Violette J. (Morris) Olsen, his wife, Deanna, sisters, Lillian, Lelia, and Lavonne, and his son, Shawn.

Leo proudly served in the United States Army from 1959-1962. He worked primarily as a typesetter for many years.

He is survived by his brother, Lawrence "Tim" Olsen and daughter, Bonnie Holtz, three grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.

Private services are being held with interment and military honors in Green Lawn Cemetery.
