Linda D. Kipper

August 23, 1951 — October 6, 2025

Linda Diane Kipper (Cummings), age 74, passed away on October 6th, 2025, at Centerpoint Medical Center. Linda was born August 23rd, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri to Francis "Boots" and Edna F. Cummings (nee Hendrickson). She was their youngest child. They also had a son Edward Thomas "Tom".

Linda was a 1969 graduate of Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. She married that same year to Michael J. Staples, they had a daughter Stacy Lynn. She was their only child.

Linda worked many years as a clerk for the Frisco (now BNSF) Railroad. She worked with her husband Vernon at the railroad. They were married from 1987 until his death in 2009 (He passed away from Melanoma).

Linda did not always have an easy life, but she always seemed to make it joyful for the ones around her.

She loved her family and friends very much. But she especially loved her grandchildren, Dakota and Sarah. She loved to sew, plant flowers, decorate for the holidays, care for her animals, and liked collectibles.
